Discrimination:
Title IX is a law that protects everyone from discrimination. For more information on the UA's Title IX policy, follow the link below. Discrimination can be reported to any faculty or staff member if you feel comfortable. Faculty and staff are required to report discrimination. If you aren't comfortable reporting to a faculty member or you don't want a report filed, CAPS can be a great resource to provide support, advice, and confidentiality. CAPS allows you to meet with a licensed professional to discuss any issues you may be having. As with all Arizona counseling, confidentiality will be broken only if a client is suicidal or homicidal, is committing acts of abuse against a child or a vulnerable adult, or there is a court order requiring that information be disclosed.
